That's it!

If my 4l is not the biggest engine I'm not coming. It's a problem I've had since school, always wanting the biggest. Lol.

Ok, I've settled now, I will be there.

Steve, Google says 1hr 15mins to you, and I'm going to leave about 7.30am, so should be there by 9.

See you all tomorrow.
Mike.

Hi Steve

Thanks for organising the meeting. As I mentioned to Jim after his prompt, I have today still got the front bumper off of my X350 XJR to replace the Ballasts in the headlamps (it can be done on these earlier X350s, despite what Jaguar tell you) but if all goes well and the trims and bumper go back OK, I might be able to trundle down tomorrow. If so, be good to meet you all

Thanks for the broadcasts Jim. What a great idea Steve.
I will be there with the family tomorrow.
My 14 year old daughter looked at your member figures and said "I guess there's more gangsters in London than anywhere else....they all drive Jags!" As the saying goes....out of the mouths of babes eh?? Haha.

Sorry guys, I have to bow out - I'm due in hospital on Tuesday, and I have the beginnings of a cold. Spending time out in the chilly weather is probably a bad idea if I want to be rid of it, and I've got quite a few things to clear up as well. So, see you next time.

Hi all,

I am so sorry for the inactivity and general late notice.. it has been an absolutely manic couple of weeks work and everything else-wise for both myself and my wife - we've barely seen eachother! As such, I think we are going to have to give tomorrow a miss to catch up on some rest before the mayhem of Christmas kicks off....

I'm really sorry to miss it and I very much look forward to seeing all the pics!

Chris

Presumably you have responded to the ADMIN broadcast this morning?

I have to disagree with you about posting in all the marque forums. We would be inundated with complaints from members if posts about regional meets from all over the World appeared in the tech forums.

The Region Forums are the place for region-specific threads and posts. The individual Model Forums are the place for tech posts.

Yours is post #156 in this thread which has been running since 1st October 2013 and Steve Sheldon has put a huge effort into organising this meeting.

It's unfortunate you haven't viewed the UK Regional Forum in the last two months but it's a valuable lesson to us that ADMIN broadcasts are effective and in future we should do this much earlier.

I'm sorry the notification was too late for you to be able to attend.

Graham

Hmmm.....This post has been running since 1st October, in fact I did make a broadcast to members in the surrounding area on that day, post #3 of this thread!

This thread has been bumped almost daily / weekly by myself and Steve, who has put a huge amount of his own personal time and effort into it.

We can't broadcast these things daily / weekly as it would be an annoyance to some / most members, so its about creating a balance.

If members don't use the forum regularly enough, check out the regional section and or respond to the broadcast there's not a whole lot more we can do.

Hopefully all goes well for tomorrow

I'm unable to attend later due to a whining noise which sounds like something coud be slipping. i drove to the petrol station yesterday and i think it could be a loose pulley which will need to be investigated before i run it even up the road let alone on a long run. That's the problem with older cars...

Such a shame because I was really looking forward to the drive and the chat and I know that much work has been put in.

Enjoy it guys and don't forget to visit Harry Ramsdens. Last time I was there the fish and chips were excellent
