Hi all I'm just wanting some general info and a buying guide to getting a good xjr, I'm looking at it as a project just for the engine and gearbox etc so can be rusty or had an accident as long as it's running well. I'm not bothered if it's the nickali block that I have read about as will be getting stripped and rebuilt but want a good Base to work from. Just wanting to know if they are out there in this condition and rough prices

The designation XJR has been applied to several different Jaguar models over a twenty year period.

You refer to Nikasil so it's likely you're after an X308 manufactured between 1997 - 2003?
