I just got a Gold S Type. I'm located in Central FL, but I relocate to Virginia for graduate school. So far I haven't done anything to the car more than a 20% tint to protect the leather from the sunlight. Should be getting a few parts in soon though. Will post pictures as each one is acquired.

I am in. Topaz (Gold it seems like to you folks[8D]) 2001 VDP here. Oh livin in Boca, working the Palm Beaches!!!!

 

Damn!!! Almost everyone so far has a Topaz/Gold jaguars so far!!! Can you imagine what that's gonna look like if/when we meet up!!!! It'll be interesting to see how the cars differ if anyone's got any mods done.

 

No Mods whatsoever are planned, other than maybe HID's and rims.(but that's WAYYYYY in the future) It's my daily and I purchased the car with the purpose of having a nice car to drive around and NOT spend too much money on so that I may keep my 240 parked and mod my #1 baby.(Maybe I shouldn't say that on a Jaguar forum.)

small world i have a 240sx also and i am under the na,e crazed240 in that 240 club. But i am getting little older and want to cruz in my jag have a little style with the speed. South Florida lets get idreas for our site and start the south florida jag lets kick this off. We will be the founding fathers

 

Man, it's a great idea, but a lot of money that unforunately I don't have. Kyle, the founder of SFL240sx, pays a lot of money every month to keep the site going and the time it takes is a pita as well. I'd have to think about it really hard.

 

yeah i know kyle blue s14 we went to drift event in homestead few years back and hot import nights. hanging out at el dorado. yeah havent been out thier in a while i have a buyer for my 240 he is picking it up in feb. I know some sights for 50 dollars a year that we can keep and make up our site name. i will work on that. where u located? lets all meet up next week havde a meeting of the minds and check out each others rides

I am already a father...lol but I am definitly in.

Every engine I replace and crank for the first time....ahh it is a proud moment to get another one back on the road. Just like fathering all over again.

I don't know who can get something like that going, but if you need help I will do what I can.

As for meeting next week....lol...can do that but not with Jag....got my heads off putting stiffer valve springs in. Also gonna do tensioners etc while it is apart....better safe than sorry I say.

 

LOL is it me, or do have the Gold Jag owners also have a 240? My first two cars were 240s! A hatch and an S14 coupe. I've since sold both, and acquired the Lexus SC (which to some, actually resembles the S14A models. Zenki to those of you who know the names). But I can't wait to get another one.

As far as meeting up, I can't, as I just went back to VA for grad school. But if you guys are trying to get a FL chapter going I'm definitely in.

That's cool, it's a Jag, you don't have to have mods anyway to get looks! So far I've just done a 20% tint for the sunlight, and the '05 grill upgrade. If I do anything else, it'll be the HIDs (4300K), and maybe a Nav Unit and Wheels. If I do those mods though, they wouldn't be till waaay down the road. Since I still own the SC, I think that's more of my "project car". Plus the wheels I want cost about $5000 so there's no way I'll get that kinda cash together without spending it for SC parts before graduation LOL.

 

If you up in VA maybe talk to JHE2003. He is up there too. No meet for you here, but get the VA chapter going instead. Then we will have the SFLJag vs VAJag meet!!!!
