Hi all,

Need a windshield replacement on the '01 XJ8. Story: stone hit the glass at freeway speed - nice quarter size ding - repaired by Safelite (paid by insurance) - less than a week later, 15inch+ size crack north and south of the impact (repaired impact, that is). Not happy, but not in the mood to fight with Safelite re: lifetime warranty (which they will say it's not their fault) and my insurance who will want to hit my deductible first, higher than the price of the replacement anyway. So question: anyone has a place to recommend in the Cary/Raleigh/Durham area? Car has rain sensor. Have a quote at $280 installed at home, and another for $180 but not confirmed yet if includes rain sensor and if at home.
