2017 Northern VA Sunday C & C
A small but enthusiastic group showed up on this beautiful day. Good variety - a Lamborghini, an Audi R8 Spyder, a Shelby Mustang, etc., etc... No Jaguars here today.

I'd say that the Fairfax Circle C & C is 'back'. We had about 20 cars there today. (Cameron's, the coffee/chocolate/bakery there, doesn't open until 8:00AM, so this is not an ultra-early event.)
No Jaguars there today.

It rained last night. Quite a lot.
Good: At 70F, it was 9 degrees cooler this morning than yesterday morning for Katie's.
Not as good: The roads were a bit damp, and it was humid. Still, the faithful came out.
We had a pretty good turnout today - very diverse. You can't much complain about having a Lamborghini Murcielago, a painfully-original VW bus, a genuine '32 Ford roadster, a bagged vintage Caddy, and a Beck Spyder, all at the same place.
No Jaguars today, though...

This is maturing into a nice, medium-sized cars & coffee, with an interesting group of vehicles each week. No Ferraris here today, though.
The Chevy SSR is very interesting. A retro-style modern car, that the current owner has applied several vintage treatments to. Those badges are from 50's-era cars. The grille is from an old Corvette. The tail lights are from an old Cadillac. It has a Corvette LS motor.

A really good variety of cars at Fairfax Circle (Cameron's) today. We do need to have some Jaguars there, though.

P.S.: Take a look at this website for a charity endurance drive this October... There's still time to enter your classic Jag!

A good turnout today. True to his word, Lee drove his F-Type. There was also a very nice resto-mod Camaro there today. We could use more Jaguars...

A cool, crisp Sunday morning at Cameron's. This is a much smaller get-together than many, but the quality of people and cars is very good. I have said, in the past, that we don't seem to be drawing Jaguars to this location - we had two today!

A cool morning at Fairfax Circle, with the quality and variety we're coming to expect. The 1946 Plymouth is owned by the son of the woman who owned it back in the 70's.
Lee once again carried the entire burden of representing Jaguar at this event, so I am posting two pictures of his F-Type convertible. Where are you other Jaguar owners? The people here are nice, and the coffee and pastries at Cameron's are good. And... this event runs from 8:00AM to 10:00AM.

The turnout was a bit short of the normal today, mostly because of a car show at NRA headquarters, about 3 miles away. Still, we had several regulars show up. We did have a red XK drive by - almost certainly on his way to the NRA show...

The first day of October, and it was 44F when I left the house. We had a guy show up with what he said was a McLaren MP12C. After an accident, he had it severely customized, with a McLaren P1 nose, and some other-model McLaren parts. Note the exhausts exiting from above the rear bumper. Nicely done!
We did have two Jaguars there - a nice start...

I've been away for a couple of weeks, but it's good to get back to Fairfax Circle (Cameron's) this Sunday. It's not a huge gathering, but the people are great, and the cars are gorgeous! No Jaguars there today.

A cold Sunday at Fairfax Circle - 29F, but overcast and no wind - not too bad for mid-November in Northern Virginia. A small but enthusiastic gathering, with a good variety of cars, though no Jaguars in attendance today.

A really mild Sunday morning, for late November - 40 degrees and clear. This is a fairly small get-together, but a really nice group of people, with a good variety of cars. A couple of families came by, with 5 kids. Several of us invited the kids to sit in our cars, which they appreciated. Bobert brought his XKR-S today.
