For the last 18 years, a friend has invited his car friends over for a picnic. It originally started as a Lotus-only party, but it has grown - a lot - over the years. It's now a first-class, large, car gathering. Here are some notable cars that were there this year -

I had my car in the car corral at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday. It was parked next to a yellow lotus elise. Everyone stopped and looked at the lotus. Some even touched it. There is something about those cars that draws people to them.

 

I love my Lotus Elise and my Jaguar XK Coupe for completely different reasons. I'm happy to be able to choose between the two when I want to go for a drive!
