Hey Paul,

I work in Liberty, live in Gladstone. I just bought this 2001 XKR last
September. This is easily the best vehicle I've ever owned. The top has been down almost constantly over the past few weeks. Great cruising weather!

Maybe I'll see you cruising around town.

Steve

I live in Rolla and purchased my 98 XJ8 L that just rolled over 80K a few weeks ago. I am a first time Jag owner and so far I have really enjoyed the car. I am doing my best to learn all I can but have a long way to go.

I'm considering purchase of a 1994 XJ6 (XJ40) tomorrow. If I do, it will be my tenth Jaguar.

This is not really that close to Joplin, but St. Louis has a great All British Car Show that I actually started back in '81. This year they're featuring the Jaguar. Here's a link:

http://allbritishcarshow.com/default.aspx

We also have a big Jaguar Club that also has a show every year. Here's their link: http://www.jcna.com/php/clubdisplay.php?club=sc20

Kansas City Jag club link: http://www.jcna.com/clubs/main.php?club=sc16&Vref=sc16

And the K.C. All British Car Show: http://www.kcallbritish.com/

Hope to see you there.

Rick Green
I'll be at both British Car Days with my '60 MGA

Default Missouri Indie Shops

I live close to interstate 44 between Springfield and St. Louis. Can anyone recommend a good independent shop for Jaguar maintenance and repairs for my 1998 XJ8? Thanks!

Never heard of Cleveland Mo, till I move here 10 yrs ago. Cleveland is at 247 st and Holmes rd. Way Way south Kansas City. New to forum and am looking for a jag. Doing homewk on some different models. Also looking for someone to work on the car. Since I live in a rual area and concerned about service. Any input would be welcome on model or service.

A guy named Mark Mazza owns a shop off Shawnee Mission parkway who has been great with me. He was the head Jaguar mechanic at Aristocrat Motors for ten years and now has his own shop.
