Anyone in Missouri?
To XTypeJagMan, have you tried Rolla.net classifieds? Also check on craigs list. I found several X-Types out there for parts, I am looking a black center counsol cover.

South Saint Louis here.
I saw the sticky post in the other form for mechanics but I didn't see any replies for the St. Louis area. I'm looking for a knowledgeable and reputable mechanic in the area (south city or entire metro).
Everyone I've taken it to says they don't know how to work on it or where to get parts.
Any recomendations would be great. Thanks.

Try contacting the "Jaguar Association Of Greater St. Louis".

I found 3 Jaguar repair shops around the St. Louis area but, since I live over 2 hours away, I am not planning any trips. I have done my own repairs on brakes, shocks, lights, and so forth. This forum provides excellent info if you can find what you need.

I have two Jaguars - 1995 XJS convertible and 2007 XJ8 Vanden Plas and yes I love to talk about Jaguars and try to do most of my work myself. Also have a Range Rover so you see I like these very much just don't like the cost of keeping them going sometimes.
I moved back to KC....anyone coming out tomorrow to KC Trends for their FAST FRIDAYS event?
Live in Branson, sad news, Andy just passing. Any one know of a REAL good Jagmen in the area/ Our '01 is out of commission, have taken to Import Specialist and they are stumped...Thanks, Gene
Gene,
I agree, it is sad to see the music icon, Andy Williams, pass away. He will be missed.
I live in Springfield. I do alot of my own maintenance on my 2000 XKR. For the things that I can't do myself, I use Rick's Automotive in Springfield. They have a couple of their seasoned techs who really know Jags. They're not the cheapest shop in town, but they're honest and always do a top-notch job! Give their service manager, Keith Daugherty a call...tell him Jon with the black XKR sent you.
Here's Rick's contact info:
