Anyone know where there are any x-type vehicles I could possibly buy for a parts car?

 

From Saint Robert, Lets keep this current. I have a 2004 VDP and my wife has a 2004 X-Type. Anyone else out-there?

 

To XTypeJagMan, have you tried Rolla.net classifieds? Also check on craigs list. I found several X-Types out there for parts, I am looking a black center counsol cover.

I found 3 Jaguar repair shops around the St. Louis area but, since I live over 2 hours away, I am not planning any trips. I have done my own repairs on brakes, shocks, lights, and so forth. This forum provides excellent info if you can find what you need.

 

I will be leaving on a 4 month deployment and will return in June. I would like to get together with anyone within an hour's radius to talk about what requires repairing and how.

 

I have two Jaguars - 1995 XJS convertible and 2007 XJ8 Vanden Plas and yes I love to talk about Jaguars and try to do most of my work myself. Also have a Range Rover so you see I like these very much just don't like the cost of keeping them going sometimes.

 

Had a 1994 VDP. Now, an 04 XK8 convertible. Looking for a newer convertible this spring.

I agree, it is sad to see the music icon, Andy Williams, pass away. He will be missed.

I live in Springfield. I do alot of my own maintenance on my 2000 XKR. For the things that I can't do myself, I use Rick's Automotive in Springfield. They have a couple of their seasoned techs who really know Jags. They're not the cheapest shop in town, but they're honest and always do a top-notch job! Give their service manager, Keith Daugherty a call...tell him Jon with the black XKR sent you.
