I love Outlaw and have been to their calendar release parties every year for the last 5 or 6 years as well as other events they've had. My daughter lives in Overland Park so lately been going only to the Medcalf location except in December when my wife has a seminar at Crown Center and we stay there. Then during the day while my wife is in the seminar and my daughter working I just go up to the North location.

In St. Louis, I don't belong to the Ritz so I usually smoke at the Tinder Box in Des Peres. There every Friday afternoon and then maybe once or twice during the rest of the week, but never know. If not there I always have a cigar when we take the MG or Vette out for a ride to a winery. We should all have a herf sometime.

The British Car Show will be September 21 at Creve Couer Lake Park in West St. Louis County. It is put on by the St. Louis MG and Triumph clubs. It's a very fun day, and there is always a large turn out of Jags.

Hello Purple E Syrup, that is one sweet ride, almost enough to push us to let the convertible go for one just like yours; almost! Perfect choice for the wheels, we are looking to replace ours, too. Thanks for sharing the pic.

Purpl E Syrup,
Welcome to the Forum. You might want to add this to complete your look? installed a set on my Wife's X-Type and it looks great! Have been trying to locate clear lens for the other lamps, no luck thus far.

With the weather starting to get better, I would like to meet up with fellow Jag owners from southwest and southcentral Missouri to chat and take a look at each others cars. I'm thinking we could meet up for a Saturday coffee and a chat. I would be willing to do a group meet in Springfield, Branson, Joplin, Marshfield, or the Ft. Leonard Wood area.

Reyesl, Purple Syrup, Mfieldpreecher, Chuckdog_5...you guys and anyone else in the area interested? PM me if your interested.

Cheers!

Jon

I am currently installing wood flooring and replacing the fan belt, idler pulley, and tensioner pulley on my VDP, but I can use my wife's X-type to attend a meeting somewhere or here?

Reyesl,

It sounds like you've got your hands full. I'm busy too, getting my XKR ready to sell. Mfieldpreecher said he has his XJR in the shop this week waiting on parts. I was thinking about meeting in two weeks on Saturday, March 29th. I can travel to St. Robert if if it would be easier on you to meet there. If you guys want to travel to Springfield, there is a cool place here called Rock-n-Roll Coffee. I will PM you and Preecher my phone number.

Completed the replacement of the fan belt and pulley, found a coolant leak that ended up being an easy fix. Maybe Lets determine a date at a time that we can have the most forum members attend?

Reyesl,

Mfieldpreecher and I had texted each other about possibly meeting at Classic Rock Coffee in Springfield this Saturday, which I am still game for. I would be open to coming up to St. Robert, too. I haven't heard any interest from any other forum members from the area. Maybe we three could meet up to plan a near future meet (at a car event) or plan a day road trip. We definately need to include more forum members / local Jag enthsiasts. What do think?
