I recently bought a 89 XJS and I am planning a pretty extensive restore, while I plan on doing most of the work myself (if you own a jag, you better know how to) I am looking for somebody in the Dayton, Ohio area to help me when I need it. I know this might be a lost cause but really just needing somebody to hand over the big tasks too and maybe give me a little guidance and advice. Still trying to figure out how to add my profile pic but I did load pics of the jag into the albums. Anyway, if you are or know somebody who is pretty proficent in jag repair take a look at my pics and let me know if you can help. Thanks in advance

 

Idk how far your willing to go, I'm off in nw Columbus, theres a good tech on this forum in Powell, oh (nw Columbus) and buckeye auto a lil bit further east.. Let me know how the lsx turb comes along, I'm dropping an LQ4 88mm turbo in my xj8 whenever my 4.0l dies.

 

I found someone on Craigslist in Dayton and went to their shop in Centerville (1690 Thomas Paine Parkway) near Clyo Road to ask for advice about a possible Jaguar purchase. They advertise over 30 years of European car service and seem to run a fair operation. (They advised me against the purchase.) It's called C's Autohaus: 937-428-6040.

By the was, I need help finding a very, very low priced entry Jaguar (less than $800) Jaguar, ideally red and the Vanden Plas model. Anyone willing to give me advice?
