Default Wanted s1 61-68

Hello,

I am new to the forum and the Jaguar scene in general. I am familiar with MG's and own a 1952 MGTD and 1973 MGB however, I have accumulated enough funds to begin my search for an e-series Jag!

I am in the Air Force and recently moved to Oklahoma. Unfortunately, e-series seem to be a rare find in this area. I am looking for one that needs a bit of work, not fully restored. I have a budget of 20-25K cash.

Just getting the word out, any leads will help. I am willing to take a weekend drive to see in-person.

Thanks,

Jake

Don't want to burst your bubble but a series one in your budget range is likely to be a non-running major rust bucket if you can find one at all. I payed more than that for a basket case 12 years ago. I think you will need to broaden your search to include series 2 and 3 cars. Check out the Hagerty valuation page. Remember that there is nothing more expensive than a cheap e-type. Sorry. Herb

Your price range is a little too low, unless your looking at non running cars that will need a lot of work.
