Minnesota
Bought an 04' XJ8 in mid December and have not seen a single other XJ8 yet. one X and one S. Am I the only XJ8 in the twin cities driving through the winter months?

Hello -
I am also from Minnesota, until my truck goes I will continue storing my X in the winter, How do your jags handle in the winter? I also have summer profile tires, I hope to have her out in a month or so, say do you guys have your windows tinted? I am looking at getting this done this spring, I want to go 35% all around, or 50% front and 35% back. I had a camaro that had illegal tint and got stopped in broad day light and I got a fix it ticket and had to remove it.
Thanks,
Jeff

I drive mine (04' XJ8) year-round. Have 18" wheels w/ Yokohama Wdrives for winter and 19" wheels w/ P-zero Asimetricos for summer. Car handles beautifully year-round. Would love to connect w/ other enthusiasts and it looks like there's some sort of club. Any thoughts?
I bought my big blue 2000 XJ8 VDP in April of 2010, and took several months to get all the little problems fixed. I drove it through the winter of 2010-11 and I live about 20 miles West of Wyoming. Wave if you see me.
Does anyone know where I can pick up a replace tilt motor for an 1998 XJ8? I need to replace the motor so I can sell the car. It only has 95,000 miles on it and comes regular and winter tires. The winter tires was just purchased back in December 2010. Asking price is $6000.
Yes there is. Just do a search for Jaguar club MN. There is an all day event this weekend that you can come to, and you will find that listed under,'events, You don't have to be a member to visit. Look for me and say hi. My name is Bob E.
I am looking for a shop to take my 2003 S-Type to, same issue that a lot of people post about the PARK BRAKE FAULT. Live in North metro and want someone who is experience and where I don't have to pay $250 for diagnosis from Jaguar dealer...any recommendations would be appreciated!
