Ope, lemme just sneak right in here and introduce myself

I'm Brando! And I just bought an XKR two weekends ago that is needing some love.

This car was a victim of the horrific flooding in Spencer, Iowa in summer of '24. However, the engine was professionally gone through and it runs like a top. But the transmission was not, and I'm currently in the process of replacing it.

If all goes to plan, she'll be back on the road this Saturday. Just in time for some cruises with the Jaguar Club of Minnesota!

I named her Elixir. I'm excited to meet some of you folks, and enjoy this car as I continue to restore it.

 

Hey Brando! Welcome. I too am a newbie. We got our kitty last fall and are just getting her back on the road.

Going to do my best to get to some Jag Club events this summer. Hope to meet you soon.
