Hi Paul: I've had my 2004 XJ8 Vanden Plas for several years. Joined the forum today for the same reasons you did. Love, love my car...and all it's quirks. Dealing with what appears to be a low beam relay problem. Just replaced the blower motor relay....what a job.

 

Oh yes these cars are as much fun to work on as they are to drive

Hi Paul......next project is the low beam lighting 'flickering' which I assume is a relay problem. Then comes a slimiar problem with my windshield wipers....another relay. Aren't they fun! And I can't even blame it on Lucas.
Don
