Hello all, there's a Meet presently scheduled at a track out in Pittsburg on the 13th of July. If anyone is interested in attending, please PM me for the details. Though mostly in Maryland, I'm a native New Yorker and am there frequently. Would be nice to show a bunch of Jag's and other nice vehicles from the forum bee lining out the the Pitt strutting their respective stuff.

The Jaguar Drivers Club of Long Island and the MG Car Club-Long Island Centre are sponsoring a combined classic show on Sunday, September 14, from 11:00 to 4:00. The event, a Concours d’ Elegance and All Marque Concours Sanitaire on the Great Lawn of the Vanderbilt Mansion. (Rain date: September 21.)
Long Island Cares will have a booth in the Vanderbilt Celebration Tent, and welcomes donations. The most-needed items list includes healthy snacks for kids returning to school; coffee, juice, and low-sugar beverages; hot and cold cereal; canned proteins and personal-care items.

Visitors pay the regular Vanderbiltgrounds-admission fee: $7 for adults, $6 for students with ID and seniors (62 and older), $3 for children 12 and under. There is no additional charge for the car show.
More than 100 cars will be on display on the Vanderbilt Estate grounds overlooking scenic Northport Bay. Included will be vintage and new Jaguar and MG models and a wide range of international and domestic spots cars and sedans. SmokaBurger’s of East Northport will be selling burgers, hot dogs, sausage and peppers, and sandwiches.
In the Concours d’Elegance aspect of the show, Jaguars in the Championship, Driven and Special Division classes are be judged under Jaguar Club of North America Concours rules, which emphasize excellence of appearance. The Concours Sanitaire portion is open to vehicles of all years, makes, models and country of origin. Cars are judged solely on appearance, cleanliness and general condition. Guys. Anyone go to Capt Tree in the winter on Sunday mornings? I'll be heading down this Sunday. Love to see some Jags there. I will be taking one of my other cars. If anyone lives in the Melville, 110 area. We are meeting at the StarBucks on 110 at 8:45Am on Sunday Morning and heading out to Capt Tree.I know that it use to be a lot of American Muscle cars, but many European cars show up. I am cruising down with some 911 turbos, my Lambo, and R8 V10, a few other 911's and some Ferrari's. We don't drive like animals. Just a nice safe cruise to Capt tree. Love to see some of your cars. And hopefully some E types!
