So its been a week since my baby(1996 zircon blue jaguar xj6) has been at the renowned jagpro mechanic. He still cant find the issue with the stalling problem. He hasnt been able to recreate it! Not only does the car stall out when coming to a stop sometimes, but also at other times when i start the car the revs will be up at 2000 rpms, if i shut it off then back on it goes even higher!! I have since changed the entire throttle body(keeping the original tps) changed the egr valve, the iac valve and gave everything a good cleaning! Still nothing, so i gave up and took it to jagpro to no avail. So i am picking it up tomorrow, and i will try to figure it out myself. Hopefully with the help of all the experienced and generous techs on this site i can finally fix my cat and drive her proud knowing that i finally figured it out and fixed it myself!! thanks to all those who have helped me thus far, especially motorcarman!
