August Meet and Drives
I guess I should back out since no one wants the mountain. Lord knows I have a huge backlog of work to do anyway. I'll stay home and hit the desk. Hope you guys have a blast. If anyone wants Rainier on the 24th I might be able to, would be my last chance.
OK, that's a lot of posts to read
Sorry, I got sidetracked with work. Bleh...
I need to be back in Issaquah ~5PM as well now, but I'm still a go otherwise. I just don't think I'm up for the Paradise run. Somehow the idea of driving those mountain roads with Clever and Marko stresses me out
. Can we do the Yakima run instead? Depending on what time we get there Marko and I can turn around and high-tail it back via interstate if necessary.
If you guys are ok with that we can still meet at Issaquah Crispy Creme around 8:30 -8:45 for a 9AM departure.

Anywho... Lets hook up for a 9am departure form the Issiquah Krispy Kreme. Any and all Jags are welcome, so instead of mowing lawns, how bout mowing pedestrian...errr I mean cattle.... no, no that's not right... I mean get out and enjoy what our cars do best... Drive!
Don't forget FRS radios, I'll bring a spare or two...
Vince
Swinref is looking for Jags to loop Rainier next weekend! Would be a hoot, but I'm tied up!

Hummmm,
Shots look good guys... Not sure I have any worthy to compare, but here goes.
Great drive to "not" Yakima by the way!
Marko did the wise thing and headed home from Ellensburg, while poor Muddy was suckered into the canyon run.
The canyon was great except for traffic, which our Jags made easy work of, but the limited time once at the south end put Muddy in a tight spot.

We opted a return via freeway where we kept the needle at a casual three or four over the limit..... I did find it odd that so many drivers and semi trucks were driving very slowly, because we passed a lot of them on the way back....

What can I say.... Maybe muddys t-shirt idea would have worked if he and Marko both wore "I'm with Stupid"...
Sorry for the National insult... It wasnt intended...

Yeah, that was us. There's a couple of vids of the cars on my YouTube page. Plus a whole bunch of my dogs, in case anyone is interested.
I have plans for these remaining weekends, I'm afraid. Hope somebody joins in!
