So you already know I like stickers. I'm like a 3-year-old with those things. I just noticed this thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...oposed-123773/

I can only guess BAJrs stands for Bay Area Jaguars? Now I'm thinking the "Cascadia Cats" need a logo! Something classy and simple that might look good on a back window?

Leaper and mountain design? I'd slap one on my back windshield.

I'm all in on this.
Couple thoughts... We really only have two famous mountains on our neck of the woods (Rainer and St Helens), although Oregon has Hood, Jefferson, three Sisters, and Crater Lake. Any of these could be considered part of the Cascade range. Or just stick with mountains in general to represent Cascadia.
Your past two logos have included the leaper, and the British flag. The leaper is a must, the British flag is classy and adds color, but not as necessary as the leaper here in the US.
How bout starting with a leaper jumping over a mountain (or mountain range and see what you can imagine from there?

Leaper with flag superimposed? Mountain with flag superimposed?

I like to talk about our cars in a Cat or Kitten sense. I would not want "cute", but maybe claw marks?

What level of color is available? Grayscale at 16? Color at 256?
I ask, wondering about a more dimensional (semi photo quality) shot of an actual hood leaper?

Forgive please, I'm kinda wasted tonight and just tossing ideas into a pot to stir ideas. I like your thought, and wanna be helpful.

peace
V

Lol. I want what you're having! The clings have fewer color options and lower resolution than the more expensive stickers. I figured a logo would be more basic in design.

^^ Oh Boooo ^^

May Mister Watterson pay you a visit for the sole purpose of slapping you....
May I pay the same visit just to watch...

(As you may know, the Calvin and Hobbs likeness has never been licensed for any marketing outside his famous books.)

Oh are you a Watterson fan? Here's a bit of trivia that I stumbled across earlier this year. See if you can figure out what is going on behind the scenes of Pearls Before Swine, June 3-7 of this year:

It's pretty cool. After you read the cartoons do a google search and read the backstory.

*edit: found the backstory for you here: http://stephanpastis.wordpress.com/2...l-he-just-did/

Yes I knew of the collaboration, but never saw the strips themselves, thanks.

Between Cheryl and I we have every Calvin and Hobbs book out there (As well as Bloom County)!

I THOROUGHLY enjoyed the links to the comic strips. Calvin and Hobbes is absolutely, positively my favorite. I didn't know about the collaboration. Thank you!
