Default A drive to Paradise!

I'm hosting a non-car specific drive Sunday (19 Oct) up to Paradise on Mt Rainier.

Looks like we get a gap in the rain, and I am taking advantage of that and the limited crowds this time of year.
So far we have 5 or 6 cars, and getting a few Jags in the group would add that special touch of class to the drive.

We depart Krispy Kreme (Tacoma Mall) at 9am(ish), and plan to loop the grand lady counter-clockwise. (Elbe>Paradise>Enumclaw)

I don't know the facilities up there, so I recommend a brown bag lunch, a camera, and smiles.
I do believe National Park entry fees will apply.

Join me, wont you?

Vince

Sadly, I'll be on my way to the Centre of the (Canadian) Universe- Toronto!

Rainier sounds a lot better.

I went! We had a lot of fun. Really only had 4 cars, and 1 turned around early. It was pretty deserted on the back side -- made for some good enjoyment. Though note to self: Rough pavement may be rougher in sports cars VS GT cars.

lol
Truth!...
Each time we stopped everyone got out and did a walk around of their cars! We had pieces literally go missing on one!

My kitten took it all in stride, and she hardly flinched at the humps and bumps!

<sigh> I love my car... (and her 19" rims.....)

I love the Krispy Kreme bus. That might have been my chosen destination right there.
