When I bought my VW my co-worker called it a "smart-man's Porsche." I think he meant poor-man's Porsche, but it was nice to hear anyway.

Looks like the last of Exotics for this year (26th).... Yellow light for now, but bet it goes green...

Went red: Exotics At Redmond Town Center | The Largest Weekly Exotic Car Gathering North of Los Angeles

Which is fine, as the XKR is at the body shop to fix the rear bumper that some idiot punctured downtown a couple of weeks ago. /kicksbadguyinshinfornotknowingwherethefrontofhisca risandthennotleavinganotebecausemeanpeoplesuck

There's a good chance I'll mosey down to RTC next Saturday, the 24th, IF I get my car back from the shop this week. STR isn't maybe what you'd call exotic, but it's at least *somewhat* rare... Maybe I can hide amongst the D- and E-Type cars

Just watch their facebook page for a "Go" "No-Go".

Looking forward to having your photographic eye around on Jaguar day as well! (That will be one I will definitely be there for!)

E@RTC is on, as is the St Michelle Staycation on Sunday. I have houseguests and cannot make it to either, unfortunately.

June 14 is Ferrari Day at ERTC. I can't make it out, but that would be something to see. I think I missed it last year too.

I'll definitely come out on Jag/Brit day. I've been at my car every weekend, bit by bit, detailing it and clay-bar buffing the schmutz off. Apart from the couple of small dings and the airdam scratch, she's looking pretty durn good
