I'm up for either 8th or 9th. Looks like the 9th, we'll have at least 5 - if Marko joins, 6. I'll miss Swimfan, but I might be persuaded to make another trip the following week as well

Diesel Battle Wagon!

Barring active snowing, I'll be taking the 'vert. It's just water.

And either way, I'll enjoy y'alls company.

That's a movie reference. Too obscure? Anyway, I have every intention of sending out one more mass email announcing Oct 9th. Any last minute objections?

Well folks,
Here we sit, only a week out from a great gathering of cars and friends. The last of the year for many....

I know some are puzzled, and some disappointed in our first attempt at this years Cascadia Cats Annual Leavenworth run, but the call to cancel was very difficult to make. It was, by the way, the first 'cancel' ever made in our annual event...
To be honest, it was the mass exodus of all new and newer attendees that left us with a small core group of diehards. But diehards is not what this run is about. This drive is about gathering both old and new friends together around a great marque. Despite our various ages and backgrounds, the ice is easily broken and friendships are easily made with these cars, so don't miss out!

For this run, the only cancel will be if the passes get packed snow. So be sure to clean up your Kitten, check the tires, grab the family and camera, and meet us there in Monroe next Sunday morning before 9:00

So common FPacePNW, JWS V8S, deltagroup and others... Lets get this list growing! Great roads and a good meal await!

Peace!
Vince

I'm ticking down the boxes.

Done
: new battery
: new MAF
: new Crankcase vent valve
: new IC pump

To Do
+ new Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor
+ new O2 sensors (maybe all four)

Vacuum leak checks.

I should be there. May need to drive a bit more leisurely than I usually do, but I'll be there

Ken

I just checked the forecast and as of Friday morning, there's 100% chance of rain on this side and 90% chance in Leavenworth. At this point, I'll likely not go. Please don't wait for me. Sorry guys, but I'm just not keen about driving in the rain all day. :-(

Vince and Jay, I appreciate all your efforts to put this together.

^ I know, right?

Weather Channel, Accuweather, WeatherUnderground all show overcast to mostly cloudy. Even our side of the pass shows overcast with occasional showers which isn't bad at all.

Almost always have we seen rain forecasts turn into scattered showers for these drives. Even our January drive to Newcastle Golf Club, where we got caught in a bit of a downpour, cleared up enough for some vista pics of the cats over Seattle. You just never know.
