Sounds like you had some fun. I would rather have been there, believe you me. This is what I ended up doing instead... /sighs

Was a good time. and weather was stunning. Those that have not visited Hurricane Ridge certainly missed one of the clearer days for a mountain top view!

Muddy took pity on me and decided to make sure I didn't drive the mountain alone, but it cost him missing half the game... Sorry dude...

In truth, the lack of general participation in most of our drives has me questioning my value as a "Regional Coordinator".

Vince

Sadly I have little time for the next week or so to sort out vids from my gopro, but I'll try to get something together soon!

While acknowledging the validity of your emotion I must counter your cognitive distortion, as you are clearly discounting the positive. Our group is one of the most active on the forum.

I strolled through some other regional sections and their coordinators are not half as active as you are. Some don't even have regional coordinators.

One last post - a funny anecdote: On our way back down the mountain my passenger, Tim, said (referring to the couple we met at the top), "You know in high school when you were hanging out with your nerdy friends and a cool kid comes over and talks to you, and then after he leaves all your friends look at you with a new-found sense of respect? That's how I felt today when my friends saw me in your car!"

LOL. I told him I'd never in my life been described as one of the cool kids. This car is awesome!
