Late reply, but that probably answered your question, LOL! No, it's been quiet. Our sister club, https://www.meetup.com/drivethenorthwest/ is still doing drives but they're not Jag-only. I'm a little preoccupied to do the planning just this moment, but we're not dead, just sleeping...

Hey MuddyDog,

Was that you blasting past me coming out of Cliftside? And then playing follow-the-leader all the way to the freeway?

Didn't look like 'sleeping' to me...

It's September. So, how about proposing an oyster run down 101 to Potlatch or Alderwood? Or maybe something ending up at House 11 Taproom in Port Gamble?

Just curious...

Let's talk about "a long time coming." When I wrote to you in 2012, in Oregon, I had no idea that I was going to be living in Arizona, 10 years later(!).

The X308 is gone, and now I have a 2007 XJ8L in the same colors of gold with light beige leather interior and fewer miles. Since it is now of course aluminum, I don't have the corrosion problems of the earlier car, plus it's lighter and livelier when going around corners. The air suspension front struts were replaced, otherwise I drive a lot.

She has 100,800 on her odo now, time to have rear brakes done and take in for transmission fluid change which is always so much fun. Runs like a top, at 75mph sustained I am getting 28-29mpg all day long. Lovely car.

I will probably drive it until the rotating parts die. It's just fantastic. I hope I can converse with few people subsequent to this little missive. God Bless.

Default Another Owner in Port Orchard WA!

Greetings! Just joined the forum yesterday after buying a 2006 XJ8 4.2L (X350, right?) with 110K miles. If there ever is any new activity for the group, count “Roxanne” and I in!

Cheers!
Mitch

Randyp here, you can add me to the list. I am in Mill Creek just north of Seattle. I currently own 5 Jaguars. 3 XJS convertibles, a 1979 XJ12 and an XJS coupe I am turning into a mild race car. P.S. for those of you local, I have lots of car parts as well as Jaguar specialty tools. Just about killed myself the last few weeks painting one of the Jags and getting it ready for the ABFM in Portland this weekend. Sadly only got 18 miles and the harness under the dash caught on fire which I will be discussing in another post. Car looks great, but is kind of a boat anchor for now.

Default Add to the PNW list please

I am in Kitsap County Washington with a 1993 XJ40 and a 1983 series 3 XJ6 that I am going to use as a doner for a Aristocat Kit car. It will look like a XK-120ish with a removable hard top.
