I thought it would be something neat to do... I just submitted photos of the PBTW's car to see if they would let us show it...

Look forward to seeing you there... Let keep in touch and meet up..

Thanks JD- Have done nothing to it Totally Stock,,, I love the Color as well "Jaguar Racing Green"...

I had so many thoughts about what I was going to do,,, However; 2 points came to mind,,, One was cosmetically the car is beautiful,,, love the lines,,, So any Body Kits became a NO WAY.... Second was performance and since it is the PBTW's car I don't want her to Freak because I start messing with it... She gave me permission to spend my money on one for me,,, only if I Really Really want one...

So hopefully I will find a similiar vehicle...

it is always good to get permission to get one for "yourself" ! I am not sure how much money to sink into mine. I always seem to be more concerned with "making it better than I got it" so I am stubborn that way regardless of getting all my money back. I liked my car because it was unique and the price was right. also one owner. 53K miles. I would have loved to get an XKR but was a little more than I was willing to spend right now. other expenses you understand.

"I am not sure how much money to sink into mine. I always seem to be more concerned with "making it better than I got it" so I am stubborn that way regardless of getting all my money back."

So many ways to rationalize spending money on cars,,,

I do look at what it will cost per year to operate,,,

I can do most of my own work or have my friend's shop hook me up,,, but even then I am fully versed on the issue and know what it will cost in parts and how many hours ALLDATA or MITCHELL allows for the repair,,, Then I work Franky on what he'll charge me per hour,,, Knowing I'll be there turning wrenches as well... So for that I am fortunate.

Remember you can find all the info you need on the Internet and in most cases be SMARTER then the guy turning the wrenches on your repair...

I also evaluate the pleasure and fun(XKR),,, Functionality Reliabilty (Avalon and Lexus) that I will get from the vehicle.

If I can find a nice one for me then I will always be throwing money at it just tinkering,,, Because I like that,,, And it will be mostly performance upgrades that I will focus on,,, till then I will read every post and listen to everyones trials and tribulations to form the best avenue for me to take...

Learning alot everyday and I love it,,,

I peeked at this one and feel bad but they are KINDA related... If we all got together It would look like the ODD kid at the family reunion...

This is true but I will still have the PBTW's vehicle so by PROXY,,, I am still in the fold... It is more than I want to spend and I am not comfortable with the look of the convertible in the down postion and the look of the boxy cover... Has that Avanti look where it looks like a streamer trunk on the back with the bulky look... Maybe its the picture... but it is a V12... Interior looks sharp...

Want a coupe anyway...
