This will be the third year the Alfa Romeo club has held a fall driving tour. This year leaving from a yet to be picked location north of Huntsville, AL and ending up in Tullahoma, TN for lunch and a tour of the Beechcraft Museum. All Marques welcome. You will hear about it if you are a member of North Alabama British Motoring Society (NABMS). If you're not a member, why not? It's a pretty good club, open to any European marques.
The tour date is Saturday, 9 November.
More details shortly.

Anymore details?

OK we have a plan!
Let's move the date to Saturday November 9 to avoid conflict with other events. That, and Fall seems to be breaking out a little late this year, anyway.
We'll meet in Ardmore at the Hardee's, 26094 Main St. This is on the Tennessee side of Ardmore, about 500 feet from the Alabama-Tennessee state line.
We'll drive out from Hardee's at 10:00AM (Central) for about an hour and a half drive to Tullahoma, TN, and have lunch at The Celtic Cup Coffee Shop 106 North Anderson Street, Tullahoma, TN. Check out the link and you'll see this is a really neat meeting place. They are reserving their upstairs room for us.
After lunch, we can go over to the Beechcraft Heritage Museum. One of the best aviation museums I have seen. I believe admission to the museum is $10 but well worth it if you enjoy airplanes or history, or airplane history
So y'all come and make a fun morning and early afternoon with us. And enjoy the cool fall air, turning leaves, and a great drive November 9.

Hey Alfa, sounds great.....
Any thing we can do to help, please let me know....
I can message ALL regional members for you to make them aware if you like, depending on numbers probably get some decals sent out and perhaps even the forum banner could make an appearance?
Please let me know.....happy to do what we can to raise awareness
Jim
Zyggy... If it's not running come anyway.
Run what you brung!
We've had everything from SUV's to grandpa's old '63 Chevy pickup on these tours before.
Jim, sending the emails out to the local members would be great. Thanks.
I'm not sure how I'd hang the banner. We have a car show in Huntsville first Wednesday of every month which would be on Nov 6 this coming month. I could show it there for sure, and way more folks would see it. I'll PM you my address. You can let me know details.

Hey Larry,
I've put in a request to get some forum decals sent out to you at your home address.
As you know the forum banner is currently out there at another meet, with member BAD Catitude.
I've asked him if at all possible to get it forwarded on to you in time for your event, and await a response.
I'm really hopeful we can make this happen.
All my best
Jim

I am looking forward to being there!!
That's quite a trip down from Bowling Green, Michael. We appreciate you making the trip. How's that new motorsports park coming at the NCM?
I test drove the route yesterday and stopped in at the Celtic Cup. I think everyone will enjoy stopping there for lunch. Neat place. Here's some pics. They seem fairly Euro-car friendly there!

I can't wait for the new motorsports park to be done. I have to admit, for a small(ish) town, Bowling Green has a lot for car enthusiasts to do. It should be about a 2.5 hour drive down for me, so not too bad!

Hey Larry, the forum decals have already been sent out to you direct from IB, should be with you in a few days I'd guess.
Tommy, as you know has also agreed to get the forum banner on its way to you as well, so you should have it for your meet.

I have about a half dozen "firm" commits. And a couple of folks have told me they'd love to come but cannot. Judging from previous years responses, it will between 12 and 20 cars. I'll know more after the Wednesday gathering.
I have banner and stickers now.
