I have been living in ABQ for the past 20 years. Just bought a silver, black leather XJ Vander Plas 2006, and so far love to drive it. Feels so sporty and so classy. I don't know what it is about European cars in general, and British ones in particular, but they have much more appeal for me than American ones. Of course it is a question of taste and performance too, perhaps. Needless to say that in Europe people drive faster than in the USA and shorter distances too, so cars need to be more adapted to higher speeds and less focused on interior comfort. Nevertheless, Jaguar seems to have both. I would love to get in contact with Jaguar aficionados and share the leaper thrill and perhaps too some advise on technical matters as well as how to cope with the bad reputation in high cost of repairs associated with this brand. Did I forget to mention that I am of French origin which could explain my preference for European Beasts ?

 

Hard to believe its been 4 months since the Owl meet. I'm up for another with hopefully some more Jags to ogle. We could have another lunch this Saturday or maybe try something different. Happy hour after work on Friday?
