Charles Maund Jaguar (Austin Jaguar dealer) is shutting down as of 12/14/10. The Jaguar franchise was sold to Land Rover Austin (1515 W. 5th St) and the old CMJag bldg will be turned into overpriced Toyota (Lexus) dealer's used car lot.

Dan (main tech at CMJag) and maybe one other tech will be moving to Land Rover Austin, but Michael and Guy (Service Advisors) will be at Charles Maund's Volkswagen shop.

 

Amazing, I have received no notification from Jaguar or Charles Maund or Land Rover in Austin to tell me. I purchased my 2010 XF Premium from Maund in August 2009. Nice of them to tell me.... This does not seem to be good customer relations for a premium brand car.

 

Contacted Land Rover, Austin and they were fantastic and very helpful. Not needed them yet but look forward to seeing the quality of their work. For me, their location is very inconvenient as it is in the opposite direction to the direction I travel when I go to the office (CMJag were very convenient). However we cannot complain, at least we still have a Jaguar dealer here in Austin!!
