I just recently moved from the Philadelphia area to the north Houston area (The Woodlands). I would like to find a good Jag Tech - preferably an "independent" - to service my 84 Vanden Plas. If anyone can recommend a good service provider that is located - preferably - somewhere off of I-45 North between FM1960 and Conroe - I would really appreciate it. PM Brutal on here for his phone # while he is a tech at the dealer he also does work as an independent that will help both of you out instead of going through the dealer if your car isnt under warranty

 

I've not used Momentum for service yet (although I did purchase my car from them a couple of months back), so I can't comment on that aspect. But they're nowhere near The Woodlands.

Before I sold my 2002 S-Type, it was looked after, for six years, by Champions Jaguar, an independent shop on Cutten Road (just off 1960). Mike Davis has always been open and honest about what I needed to get done, and what could wait. Solid recommendation from me. http://championsjaguarservice.com/

Motor Cars Ltd opened a shop at the end of last year just by The Woodlands (tucked in between the Hardy Toll Road and I-45). I used The Woodlands location of Motor Cars Ltd for service on my 1984 XJ6/Vanden Plas (Series 3) with very good results until they closed down several months back. Does anyone have recommendations for a replacement INDEPENDENT Jaguar shop relatively close to The Woodlands. I need a shop that can deal with the electrical issues that pop up periodically on the Series 3 automobiles. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences/recommendations.

 

Thanks to this forum, I found Champions Jaguar when I moved to town. I've been there a couple of times with my 2004 XJR and was happy with the results. Mike is honest and does a great job.
