Just wondered if there is anyone here from east Idaho. I see other parts of the Northwest represented.

I grew up in Idaho Falls but live in Boise now, does that count? hehe

 

Sorry to see so little activity in you neck of the woods...

 

I got a ticket last month on the US 20 freeway north of town coming into Idaho Falls from Yellowstone to spend the night. The state trooper was a real jerk, and he had to really weave around to cut my out of state plates out of the herd of Idaho cars all travelling together. Although most ID freeways are posted 75, this stretch was dropped to 60 (the locals didn't bother to slow) and he explained this by saying we weren't on a freeway. Hmmm, controlled access, divided with median, guess what he meant was that it was not an interstate. Clearly, we were hit with an out-of-state toll for using the road.

Vince (Clever Name), you crack me up. Lewiston is closer to your house than it is to jaymee's in Idaho Falls, a lot closer. On the way home from Idaho Falls I drove Whitebird 2 days later, and the Lewiston spiral highway the morning after that on the day I got home.
