Dave:

Please sign me and Jen up for lunch!

We had a great time at the Monterey event but were unable to attend the Marin one so are looking forward to this one!

I think I remember you mentioning that you were looking into adding seat heaters to your XK8 - did you ever do that?

If so, please fill me in on the details as that might be a useful addition for a January drive!

All,

Please note that the address for Solano Community College is 4000 Suisun Valley Road. My mistake. Below are the attendees so far. If it's not right let me know.

Looks like the WaterDragon came down with a case of the sniffles.

I have a sound like primary tensioner has gone bad, a light weight rattling noises from that area that persists after removal of both drive belts.

My plan is to pull a valve cover today and see if I can view the primary tensioner enough to confirm this, and if so, Buck and I will plan on changing the primary tensioners, but leave the chains in place, assuming they are in good shape. I don't think this will be technically difficult since it is just bolting and unbolting stuff, just time consuming.

But, this will not be completed before this run, so I think I am going to miss it this time.

Got our XJ-S back from the body shop & had new thermostats installed. Had a mystery noise in the X300 diagnosed and repaired, so a bath for the cats and I believe we're ready. Really looking forward to it!

See you tomorrow. We changed the lunch to 12:45. We will be at the Blue Victorian Winery at 11:15. It is a mile from the restaurant.

What a great day! Many thanks to Dave for setting this all up. The winery and restaurants were wonderful, and the company was hilarious. And I learned a lesson today. Never follow Rhett and Heather...

More pics from others to come - I'm sure...
