Desperately seeking a Trustworthy, honest shop ...
In CA central coast area anywhere from SLO to San Jose. There isn’t one in Santa Barbara that still works on anything older than 5 years.
Im not stupid and I’m not OK getting set up and ripped off. I’m fine paying a fair price for work that actually needs doing.
Im actually looking at driving 1100 miles back to Portland to The Jag Shop I used to rely on and know I can trust.

Several good shops closer. In the Bay Area. I've visited J&G in San Rafael. Jag only and well regarded. I've talked to the owner of Bacchus British in Walnut Creek. Also Jag only and had some good advice. Neither are cheap. I get simple service like oil changes, brakes, etc at the local garage so I don't pay Jag shop prices. Good luck. It's one of the challenges of owning a unique car.
Oh you have the Sport version! Sounds like fun.
