Anyone have a recommendation for an auto transport service that could move a non-running Jag from Los Gatos to Burlingame? I can pick a place at random, but was hoping someone here might have some personal experience to share.
Thanks for any suggestions...

Hey all, new '74 XJ6 owner and forum member based in Marin. Look forward to driving this thing as much as possible around the twisty roads in the area. Speaking of which, is anyone with a classic headed to the Breakfast Club Rally on the 11th?

I do not think I am free next weekend but are you going to the British Steel Breakfast Club Rally? I will try to go to that one; I hate waking up so early but sounds like fun
I'll try to make it out to that one as well, I would love to check out your '63 as I'm just getting started on mine and could use some advice on how to get it set up.

I would be glad to share any information that would be helpful. Doing a swap on a Jaguar is not as easy as too many Jag owners are against modifying Jaguars. I have had to learn the hard way on a lot of things but am overall happy with how I have the car now.
anyone interested in meeting up for a RELAXED RALLY on 11/12?
would be AWESOME if some of us got together & went for a drive on some freeway(s) in NorCal
could start around Sacramento or in the Bay Area or somewhere in between like Fairfield / Vacaville
in any case here’s the deal I searched a bunch of threads & it looks like over a decade ago some NorCal people were trying to organize a meet up & it never happened
not only have I seen posts about SoCal meet ups but I also was part of British Steel II along with Primaz (big shoutout to him for being a really cool guy & for telling me about multiple events) & while it wasn’t only Jaguars that day it was INCREDIBLY FUN to cruise around with lots of other British vehicles
so what’s the potential interest in meeting up on Sunday, November 12th? that’s 15 days from now let’s see who is available & wanting to meet up for a drive I’m posting this in a few places on this website & I’ll be regularly monitoring responses
even if there are only five or six owners happy to bring their cat out that day (regardless of the weather) I’ll organize a starting location & a time based on people’s responses so please tell me where you live / would prefer to meet up since many members are quite vague in the Location part of their profile snapshot
ALL RIGHT THANKS let’s see if we can organize a RELAXED RALLY =)

Anyone own or know somebody in the Bay Area who owns an Ultra Blue Jag?
I've never seen one in the flesh and am looking to buy an Ultra Blue F-Type R sight unseen from out of state!
The one thing I'm nervous about is how the color looks in real life!
I doesn't even need to be an F-Type though that would be preferable . Just needs to ne Ultra Blue Metallic.
Can anyone help me?
No need for anyone to be with the vehicle I just need to see one parked up somewhere in the Bay Area.
Thanks in advance for all your help,
Peter.
You should this is a fantastic event! It starts out with the best structured cars and coffee as only people whom have a car or their passengers know of the location so, you have a huge amount of unique British cars of every style/make/model/etc., then you have a well planned 90-100 mile drive through beautiful scenery and great driving roads thru mountains, etc. with a break in the middle ending at a lunch spot. You can stay for lunch that is up to you so it does not need to take up the whole day so no matter where you live Northern CA, it is worth the drive! Way better than any other Jaguar event or other groups car events....
