Hello Bay Area
I'm down to one Jag.... The XJS blew its fan clutch today so it's not allowed out to play for fear of overheating and being sick everywhere. :-(
Luckily the Portfolio is behaving (touch wood) so we'll get there in that
Looking forward to meeting everyone. Save travels

Looks like I'll be able to make it to breakfast tomorrow morning. I just completed a 3 hour marathon bug and tar cleaner session after a spray can of black paint on my garage shelf exploded (101 degree heat?) and covered the fronts of my dark saphire Jag and WHITE Mercedes! I'll re- survey the carnage tomorrow AM and give the Jag a quick hose spray. Look for a spaced out old bearded guy in a '01 VDP Super.

@smgdata
Agree with Nardo, bring the XJS !! There must be at least one XJS running in the whole of the bay area :-)
@buckshaw
Bring the Jag and some cleaning stuff and we'll help you clean it up !
Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day..... remember your cameras :-)

We came, we drooled over cars, we ate breakfast.....
Thanks to everyone who turned up....... 8 cars was a great first effort. All those who didn't come..... you missed out, but good news..... we will be trying to do it again in around 1 month. Watch this space for details.
We had a nice variety of cars....... X300 XJR, X308 XJR and Vanden Plas Supercharged, X350 Super V8 Portfolio, X-type (with a stick shift !!), S-type, and 2 very purrrrdy limited edition XKs (Portfolio and Victory)
Next time we will have a V12 there if it kills us (which it probably will).
I've remembered everyones faces and have associated them with the correct car.... next time I may even remember peoples real names :-) We were Scott and Wendy with the XJ Portfolio if it helps :-)
If there are other pics, please post links

Thanks to everyone who have showed up today! It was such a pleasure to meet so many nice people!
Looking forward to the next meeting. We can try to arrange a short trip to the coast/Monterey/Carmel/Santa Cruz/ Napa Valley(!!!) and etc.,as it could be a fun trip.
P.S. Arseniy with the X-type.

Great event and start for the Bay Area. I know it is tough as we all live in such a large geographical area, but we did it!
Loved the event, people and Jaguar energy. Next month for sure!

@rocam
Great panarama shot.... pity Arseniys' X-type lost one of it's headlights, but anyway :-)
@Shawn
We are BOTH going to bring XJSes next time. We need to show these puny V8s and 6's what a real Jaguar is all about ! (Assuming we can get the real Jaguars running....)

Haha LOL! A new look of the old style - 3 headlamps instead of 4.
Great panorama btw!
@Sarc
We can always bring a towing rope or arrange a towing truck for the grandpas! But at least one of them has to show up next time!

Hello everyone,
WaterDragon / Jeff B here
I have the 2002 Light Blue XJR
Attached are a few photos of people boarding the 1st class cabin of Jaguar airlines.
Would people be willing to post their names (First only is ok) so I can remember who is who?
So where/when is the next meeting going to be ?

My proposal would be further up as there were a few "northerners" that came down south last time.
There is a good burger place in Pleasanton called Bobs Giant Burgers, 4223 1ST St, Pleasanton, CA. Within walking distance is a classic car showroom called Speciality Sales Classic Cars, which is usually fun to look around. There are also a few decent sized car parks around for staging. That's my proposal, but I am very flexible
