Cars and Caffeine is on the 14th and if you don't mind coming to San Jose they give out (or used to, looks like they have a vendor this month) free burgers and drinks if you give them your name and address. If the dyno is running you can get 3 pulls for $65 (half off) as well. If we got there before 9 we could likely line the cars up. The Corvette group was there a couple months ago and they did that. Last month a restored '67 (I think) E-Type coup showed up.

I like this too. Not much of an early riser, but could make it by 10ish.

It's a monthly event so it is on the day it's on. But I'm good for Sunday just have to pick a place again (and I'm OK with the origonal place).

Sat July 14th at 10:30am. BBQ for brunch onsite.

Sure. Cars and Caff it is. My electric fans are arriving on Tuesday so that gives me PLENTY of time to get them in the XJS :-)

The event starts @ 9:00 but I see a post about meeting at 10:30. Are there no early risers out there? If we want to have a group showing I would suggest that we arrive a bit before 9:00. Just a thought.

I'm going to try to get there between 8:30 and 9. I'm a member of Club Sportiva (also in that complex) and regularly attend this so hope to be able to carve out a space but having at least one other car there would help a great deal.

@Shawn. It's running, but the temperature gauge is erratic. I think and hope and prey it's just an air bubble behind the temp sensor so tonight that comes out as well as a thorough check with an IR temperature gun......... I am still hopeful......

 

Scott can you bring your IRtemp reader i want to see if mine is reading correctly
im having issues with my new temp sender going over the "N" but from what my IR is reading its not over heating and the AUX fan isnt coming on. so idk what the deal is
im just being overly cautious. IM so excited to see your S. there will be two!!!

Yep, I can bring my IR reader. My trunk is full of "just in case" things. Overly cautious is good with an XJS :-)
