Hi. I just joined the forum this past January. I'm in the East Bay (Orinda) and drive a 2001 Vanden Plas Super. Have any meetings or gatherings or whatever happened or been planned? I'd sure like to park with a bunch of other Jag's. I'll keep my eye on the thread.

We can try to meet somehow early in the morning on a weekend and go to a go-cart (should be fun) in Burlingame. Apr 21th for example. Who is up for a meeting?

 

if it wasnt for the fact that i need a valve cover gasket and a couple other parts i would be all over that. smoking, talking and hanging out with other jaguar owners would be a great way to spend the morning.

I have a '97 XK8 and '04 XKR and am in San Jose. Been hanging out at the Cars and Caffine events (they are free and some great rides there) as the lone Jag driver. Here are some shots of my XK8.

I can travel up to 100 miles for the meet. Further than that and my AAA won't tow me home :-)

My '06 Super V8 Portfolio and '92 V12 XJS Conv would like to get out more and meet some other Jaguars !

@SRL --> I think if you can persuade your friend and her dress to show up, it might assist in getting the numbers together :-)

P.S. I'm sure that the 06 XJ won't break down even 1000 miles away from home, but the XJS may do that even on the next street

Come on...it's not a space shuttle launch! Who needs almost 4 weeks to find a couple of hours on a weekend to meet car-mates?

It is kind of like a space shuttle launch trying to get my XJS to start :-)

Actually the main reason for the date is a selfish one..... I am out of town the next 3 weekends so thats the first time I'd be available.
