I just checked out the link. Thanks, Elina. I see one event is lunch at the Candy Store in Burlingame. I strongly encourage anyone who (unlike your truly) lives close enough to make it to that event and who has not visited the Candy Store to put aside all other plans and attend! The CS is a really cool old Packard dealership that's chock full of awesome vintage and exotic machinery. An interesting one-off that was there when I was there, a few years ago, was the Hagerman Jaguar. Check it out.

Looks like mostly Northern California. Anything for Southern California?

Thanks I am familiar with the group as I joined for a year but for me the crowd did not focus around the Jag owners whom want to drive the car but to me more of the events were more social driven by the wives of more senior Jag owners 60+.

I like the Bay Area Jag BAJ informal drives Rhett and others put on a lot more. You will find the BAJ drives more focused on driving your Jag at a fun and enjoyable drivers bias on performance drives through nice canyons, etc.

I'm a new Jag owner and would like to make it to one the BAJ events, do they post up event dates in this forum or is there another web site where they post up ?
Thanks

They post on this forum, look for BAJ postings. They do welcome anyone organizing an event as they are a loosely structured informal group so if you are motivated pick a date for a BAJ drive and post it.

Generally they choose some start location, a nice route to drive our cars for and hour or two ending at a nice place where we can both buy a lunch, and/or have a picnic lunch. I am too busy to plan one but would likely go if you plan one. Hopefully Rhett, one of the active people will post an event soon or maybe you can plan one. We might need to wait until another month due to this seemingly endless rain?

I've seen a few central valley cars but no one seems to meet up or do anything. I do always look for an excuse to get out of the central valley though.

If any of you folks are in the Central Valley, the Valley British Auto Club has several drive events throughout the year. Go to our website, valleybritish.org, to see the calendar.

We have several Jaguar owners as members and typically have at least for or five Jags, ranging from vintage to modern, attending each event.

If you have any questions about our Club, please feel free to contact me.

Although I live in the San Fernando Valley, I get up to Delano in the Central Valley every couple of months as we own a commercial piece of real estate right off the 99 freeway. I'm always up for a Jag event.

Thats outstanding! A couple of years back, the Jaguar Marque had the largest representation of all the Marques in our show. If memory serves me right, there were 16 Jags total... More than the MG, which is typically never the case...

We'd love to have you guys come and join us. Please feel free to send me a PM or an email for more information.

As you can see from my license plate I'm an old member (if one can be a member of an organization that has no members!) of BAJs. There is pretty much a core of 5 or 6 cars that always seem to make a go of it. I'm out of it for now since we're in Seoul, Korea for a little longer. When I get back I will surely join up again.

All you need to do is post on the forum "BAJ run anyone?" and do some simple organization. If you lead, they will follow!

I clicked on your link and wound up joining JAG. I am going to the Nike Marin Headlands event.
