Not sure if this thread is still alive, but I just bought my first Jag and am very interested in joining a Las Vegas based group. Let me know if anyone has any info. Greatly appreciated.

 

I went to the only meeting proposed here. No one showed up! But if people want to do form a group, it would be a fun thing to do. I'm sure everyone would benefit especially from the "how to get something done" perspective.

 

I'm interested. I think it's cool to join up with other automotive enthusiasts.

What if we met at downtown summerlin, west side of Macys, at the west border of the parking lot? Certainly a few Jags sitting there won't be an easy thing to miss. How about 9am Feb 10?

New to the Summerlin area, 6 months ago, from back east, Buffalo NY. Am very interested in any get togethers.

 

An old thread, I know, but looking for some support here in Las Vegas. I'm a new member, lurking for a while. I'm interested in buying an XK8, as a project / fun car. Unfortunately, there are not that many around our area for sale, so I will have to spread my search. One thing I am trying to be sure of is if I will fit comfortably ( my last project was just too small! I'm 6', 225, and getting OLD). It would be of great benefit to me to meet and be able to "test fit" an XK8, to be sure ( I'm really interested in a coupe, but a convertible would also answer the question of fit), before I start getting on planes to try and find one. I live in the NW area, and build resto-mods as a hobby, so have a pretty nice (large) garage, w/ AC and a lift, so I would be a good friend to the community

Would love to hear from you, and meet. I'm retired, so plenty of time available. I have a couple of resto-mods in the stable now too, that might be fun to share.

Thanks Brad. I'll continue to look and try and make a decision. There's one locally , but found out last night it has a bad engine ( bent valve ??) Not sure I want to tackle that , although it would certainly be interesting.

 

Well I sure enjoy mine, its been pretty reliable except for the common issues: tensioners, ABS module, etc. I bought mine with 38K on it in Wisconsin and had it trucked here.
