Napa this Sunday 2/10. The details are as follows:

All city meeting point for the drive
Time: 9:00am
Address: Starbucks - 1450 Travis Blvd, Fairfield, CA 94533
Depart: 9:30ish AM

Sacramento Caravan meeting spot
Time: 8:00am - Depart at 8:30am
Address - Chevron‎,4800 West Capitol Avenue, West Sacramento, CA 95691

Maps will be provided for the drive.

I have a good route planned this time around. Some of the same roads as last time as well as a few new ones. We will be stopping for lunch in Yountville which is a cool little town north of Napa. Lunch will be at the Z village where there is a mix of places to dine. After lunch we will of course trek to the Silverado Vineyard for the standard photo opp. After the photo stop we will loop back towards winters taking a new section of road. As a lot of you have done this drive in the past with me, I have some new twist for you.

As usual please remember to bring a two way radio if you have them. This helps for safety as well as keeps the group together.

 

A genuinely great idea! Not sure about my weekend schedule but if I've got a chance I'll be there!

 

Thanks for the heads up... Kinda soon but a possibility. btw, another great photo op location is Domaine Carneros Panoramio - Photo of Domaine Carneros as well as being a wonderful spot to sample champagne, pinot (Great pinot) and hors d'oevres...
