Default Repair in the San Francisco Area

I had been taking my XK8 to John's Jaguar in San Francisco for many years. However, he abruptly closed a year ago and I have had a very difficult time finding a good shop to take it to. Are there any recommendations out there? I live in San Francisco but am willing to travel to a good mechanic. Thanks for any recommendations.

I use Jaguar Performance Center in Los Gatos. They are great and reasonable compared to a dealership.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will keep it in mind. I also hope to get some recommendations that might be closer to San Francisco.

Justin and Tim at J & G Automotive in San Rafael have kept our 4 Jags on the road for years. Good, knowledgeable and ethical customer service.

J & G Automotive at 633 Irwin St. in San Rafael has closed. The site is now occupied by House of Brakes. House of Brakes mostly does brakes, as the name implies, but their website says they will perform most repairs on all makes and models. Justin and Tim, the two certified Jaguar mechanics, who used to be at J & G Automotive, have moved on.

British European Motors in Cotati. They fix both vintage and modern.

Since J&G in San Rafael went out of business, I've had a tough time getting my XJ-S serviced.

Any recommendations in or around Marin County?

Default British Car Repair in San Rafael

I took my 2015 F-Type R for repair to British Car Repair in San Rafael. Had a great experience with Clint and his team.
