Default SF Bay Area owner get together

I've been on the forum for years, lot's of good people here. Is there any interest in owners of older models getting together to commiserate over our car's problems, or trade hints? Nothing against the new models, but their owners spend their time driving, while us guys with old cars are more into DIY to keep our cars running. My thought is to get together at a nice park like Vasona in Los Gatos for coffee and donuts. Very low key. Now that Covid restrictions have been relaxed I feel safe standing around in a parking lot. Anyone interested?

I am updating my 1963 3.8s restomod again and it should be back to a daily driver by the end of the year. Feel free to contact me then, there are also cars and coffee events in the Bay Area to meet up there as well...

Newer Jag owners out driving HAHA...
Other than normal wear, I've had pretty good luck with my S-Type despite the high miles : )

LMK when a time/date is chosen?

If you folks are interested in a short casual car get together, I am going tomorrow to the San Mateo Cars and Coffee 9 am to 11 am, while this one is Porsche focused it is always open to all and there are always a huge variety of cars, https://www.meetup.com/San-Mateo-Car...nts/284720887/

Easter Sunday was not a good time for this meet up. I'm going to start out going to local South Bay events soon. I might be driving my old Mustang, neither of my Jags is really up to snuff.

Sounds like a good idea. Oct. 9th. would work for me. I'm writing it down in my planner. My XJS is having some brake problems so I'll take my Mustang.

I attended an all British show in Clovis several years before the Pandemic. It's nice that this show is "local" to me. The Blackhawk Museum is pretty cool. Looks like I'm going to be getting up early on Sunday.
