One of our local So. Cal Jaguar forum members called me to come out and provide my paint correction
and detailing services on their previously owned and newly acquired 2009 Jaguar XF.
Donna and Justin had recently relocated from San Diego to my hometown of Tustin
which made this service convenient for both of us.....So right before the Christmas Day holiday I went out to dial up their new ride.

Now for the surface defects that needed to be corrected and were very extensive.
Its such a shame that someone (previous owner) would be so harsh on such a fine vehicle











Nice digger on the rear bumper that I colorsanded, polished and corrected



Let the challenge begin!

Fortunately I found this 2009 XF to have somewhat soft paint, which made for a nice correction.

Here is the prep stage getting the vehicle thoroughly cleaned starting with the motor.




















Passenger side wheel wells had road stripping paint splattered up inside, we were able to clean up most of what was visible.



Next step every square inch gets clayed....paint, lights, glass



Close inspection of the paint showed me the tell tale signs of how this XF was cared for in the past......

"Danger" viewing this may cause the Jaguar afficionado to get sick to your stomach and or yell......















Using the Meguiars MF correction system and a D/A proved to be the ticket.





In the meantime my son Tyler was caring for the wheels with a coat of Mothers

My first pass helped tremendously to level out the heavy scratches and RDS




Second step of polishing was bringing this paint back to life once again....
