It happen to me, my Jag would not start nor would go into park. it appeared to be in park but the reverse light was on and so were the backup lights were on, after reading this forum I found the problem and we repaired it right there in the driveway. The bolts on the side of the transmission were loose and I found one on the ground underneath the car just where others found the same with the same problem, we followed the recall procedure and after a few minutes were done, thank you Jaguar forum.
