Jason,
Has anyone played with loading the line with a simple induction coil where you did not have the extra light to deal with?
Seems like if we measured the impedance of the lamp and matched it, that would smooth out the voltage ripples.

Hi,

Yes, depending on your make and yr, most Jaguars do not need capacitors, but in any case you DO need one, we have a special capacitor like below

http://www.hidextra.com/wil/SPHarness.pdf

many of our mercedes customers are happy that we have this so they would not get lamp out.

Thanks~

Thanks to Michelle's helpful e-mails, I placed my order for a HID kit (6000k) for my 2005 S-Type. [Order number was 960]

I'll give it a whirl and hopefully it won't be too bad with the stock S-Type halogen housings. After the install, I'll post pics in this thread. Thanks again Michelle!

Hi,

You can still the get the promotional rate of $60 per kit, but sorry the shipping is too high to ship to Canada so we cannot offer free shipping. there are two options to ship to Canada.

1.) UPS $25 (you will incur custom fees)
2.) USPS $35 EMS express (you will not incur custom fees)

Thanks~

Kudos to Michelle and the crew at HIDeXtras. I took the plunge and ordered a set of 6000k lights to place on my wife's low beams...well, the low beams of her Jag. WHAT A DEAL...$60 DELIVERED!!! They shipped quickly and within a matter of 3 days, the new lights arrived here in San Antonio. Speedy!

After a few days of waiting for the weather to clear and the sun to return...voile`, the project was completed. Both my wife and I were immediately impressed with the increased lighting...even though I had spent $50 for the Sylvania Ultra's and thought they were quite an improvement over the previous bulbs. Then, after a couple of late-night "test runs" and a couple of adjustments, WOW!!!

I can't believe the time and $$'s I've wasted over the last 5 years upgrading and purchasing "xenon halogen" bulbs for use in our Audi, BMW and Powerstroke.

Thanx Michelle and HIDeXtra for the great deal and the great service!!!

Next project, upgrading the Jag high beams, then the Powerstroke, then the BMW lights.

Will these work for the STR's fog lights?
