Yeah....drop down to 225/60x15 and you'll have lots of choices. The 225/60s will be a tad shorter but sould wrok fine.....your speedo will register just a bit faster, though.
As far as I know...might be wrong.... that 225/65 size was used only by Jaguar and only for a couple years, and Pirelli was the only outfit making them. There probably just wasn't enough sustained demand to justify continued production.

I had Cooper CS4 Touring tires (T-speed rated) on my previous 1997 XJ6. I never used Cooper tires before but I was impressed. It had good grip for the power of the XJ6, handled as it should for a luxury car and was comfortable and quiet.
BTW, 215/70-15 is only .35 inches different in height than stock which shouldn't effect your speedo/odo very much.
