Default Good replacement? for 255 40 18 Bridgestone RE760 for XJR?

Seems they are no longer making the Bridgestone RE760 Sport tires. The only ones Amazon and other online stores are shipping were manufactured middle of 2017, so a bit old to buy as "new" tires IMO
255 40 18

I really liked these for good predictable grip, low slip angle when G loaded in turns, and great price.

I want performance "summer" tires since I live in the San Francisco Bay area and it is always above freezing when I'm on the road. It has been rumored that I will occasionally charge into off ramps under full trail braking then slight 4 wheel drift around the off ramp - usually with a millennial in a sports car on my butt upon entrance (they rarely are still there by the end of the off ramp- usually get schooled by grampas car (x308 style VDP, or XJ8) about the fact that driving ability counts as much as the car- hah) so I prefer/need a tire with good predictable grip in dry conditions.

Any suggestions that are not LOUD or buzzing tires, or feel like rocks?
