Default XJ Wheels from Cal Chrome

I guess that this is a heads up if someone is considering buying a set of chrome rims from Cal Chrome or California Chrome Inc. I bought a set of chrome Tucana 18" rims in May 2012 on E-Bay from Cal Chrome Inc, I had spoken to the sales person and they assured that the wheels would not pit or bubble, I asked to questions since i live in MI, so to my great surprise I was washing my car in January 2013 and I noticed some pitting, we got snow in late Dec and I drive my truck during the snowstorms and when the roads are dry , I drive my car. So back to the pitting, I called Cal Chrome and even before I could say that the wheels were pitting, I was told " Did you read the warranty" I said yes, but the wheels are 10-11 months old, I sent them some pics and their guarantee was, I pay $300.00 for shipping and $540.00 to have the wheels re-chromed, which came out to the same price I paid for the wheels on E-Bay. I did check them out on LA BBB, they had some complaints, but were not associated with BBB, I filled a complaint with BBB, but they did not respond. Be carefull what you buy, and research the company you deal with, otherwise you will end up with ugly pitting wheels after 10 months.
