I need to replace the rear tires. 255/40/19R. I currently have Pirelli PZERO's on the car. Looks like the price is @ $500 per. I'm thinking of switching to Goodyear @ $260per or something at a more reasonable price. Anyone have an info on other options?

I just put tires all the way around and may had bought Michelin's if I had known better before hand.They have a better ride and not so aggressive tread design then what I ended up with.I had bought Hancook V12's.Price was great.I was told at the tire place that Hancook V12's are also what they use on a Corvette.But the Corvette has a louder exhaust system to smother out the noise of the tires.So it all depends how you want to go down the road.
I have not put my wheels and new tires back on my car yet because I have the front shocks and upper mounts off for replacement.So i can not give my opinion on the tires I got.I am going by what Discount tire had told me.
Also be sure to get them balanced right.I would have to look it up but a Hunter forced,balancing machine?Cost was around $8.00 a tire,but I also was told that the Jaguars are very picky and did not want to go down the road with new tires,bang bang bang all the way.
