Default What is this from? Mystery part.

Did a better search and found out that they are the rear trunk bumpers. Don't know where the brackets that were part of them went. Guess they have been broken for a long time. If anyone has a photo of how they are supposed to attach that would be nice.

Also anyone know the part number? I looked at our sponsor's parts page but couldn't tell if I had the right one or not.

What is this from? Mystery part.-003-3-.jpg Thanks to this forum I found out what these are. I didn't buy new ones because they are just plastic and would probably break again. I just repaired them myself. So far they are holding up good.

I haven't taken photos yet ,but I did almost the same thing. Drilled two holes thru the trunk hinge and screwed them to it.

Yes but you can't drill into it. There is a spring in there. You also have the insert (plunger) that needs to go up and down. If you take a hose clamp like I showed, you drill a hole in that and place the screw outwards and fasten it to the hinge bracket.
