Stored my 2002 Xtype for a month and before we stored it the hood cable broke. Came back and the battery was dead..Someone got in the car and turned on the dome light. I tried to charge it through the cig lighter but no go so I charged it through the power front seat fuse slot. It worked but now it cranks but doesnt start. Got hood open through valance. Any ideas where to start? I checked all fuses and swapped relays. Thanks

 

Take the battery out and charge it properly - that is, slowly and over a good long period, with a decent battery-charger.
