02 takes forever to start after sitting
2 times now we have gone on vacation for a week and have come back to the car not starting. Its a new battery ( one month ago) and cranks fine but it wont start. After it smells flooded I can wait a few minutes, try again, then it will usually start but I have to goose the gas to keep it running. My wif yeaterday did those things but it stalled on the way up the hill. Once you have done this the car is fine until it sits for a period again. Plugs were changed at 60K checkup, car has 110K now.

Ryan, after letting the car set for a few days and you know that it is not going to want to start, try turning the ignition key to the RUN position (don't attempt to start the car) for 5 seconds and then attempt to start the car. If the car starts up a lot better, then you are looking at either a bad fuel pump (ie, fuel is draining out of the fuel line back into the gas tank) or you have a fuel injector that is not seating properly and is allowing air into the fuel line as it sits.
